Hilder Johnson, the UN head of UN Mission in South Sudan has said she will work closely with grassroots groups.
She disclosed that an advisory council will be formed and membership will be from the civil societies, tribes, churches to be able to correct what is not right.
“We have three key areas of focus mainly on peace consolidation, conflict management and resolution and support to the nation’s security to see that international norms are abided” she said.
She said the UN will next month review whether to reduce the force to 6000 from 7,000.
Milly Hussein lays down post-independence education aspiration

The Minister of General Education Milly Hussein has said improving services will take longer because the challenges are enormous.
“The Ministry of Education has great challenges since the people have higher expectations. This can not be done within a year or three, but we do what we can for the people to see the changes”, he said.
He saluted those who paid a lot for the freedom of South Sudan. “Many died during the struggle, orphaned and handicapped. Dr. John Garang, the late leader of Sudan Peoples’ Liberation Movement remains great and the founder of the new nation”.
Milly Hussein commended the president of the Republic of South Sudan, Salva Kiir for his leadership and the patience endured during the six years interim further saying that war would have erupted but all the provocations were tolerated till the attainment of the independence on the 9th July.
The Advisor to the Minister, William Ater Machiek, said that the younger generation will achieve what they had longed for.
