The undersecretary, the Senior Management and the entire staff members of the Ministry of Animal Resources & Fisheries wish to congratulate H.E. 1st Lt. General Salva Kiir Mayardit, the First President of the Republic of South Sudan, Vice President, Dr. Riek Machar Teny, Hon. Speaker of the South Sudan Legislative Assembly, James Wani Igga, and the entire people of the Republic of South Sudan for this historic declaration of the Independence of the New Republic.

We pay tribute and thanks to our fallen heroes, heroines and martyrs who sacrificed their lives to make us witness the historic day of July 9, of our freedom from oppression and slavery.
