This is More than A Platform — A Bridge between Truth and Action. In 2011, as South Sudan gained independence, NewTimes Newspaper launched to amplify silenced voices. “An initiative by BetterOutcome.org, merging investigative rigor with stories co-owned by those who live them.” ✅ Inform with data validated by those most affected (e.g., women journalists mapping GBV hotspots) ✅ Connect activists and storytellers across the region ✅ Empower communities to own their narratives – from documentaries to data dashboards

What We Deliver: Community-Driven Impact
• 🧭 Interactive investigations: Maps tracking displacement + podcasts hosted by frontline voices. • 🎥 Survivor-led storytelling: Films like “The Firewood Walk” — blending GIS maps of attack zones with survivor testimonies, sparking 3 policy reforms. • 📡 Insights that change policy: 85% of our content is co-created with those most affected. We don’t just report — we hand over the mic.
